Human Rights

1. What are human rights?
Human rights are rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled. They can exist as shared norms of actual human moralities or as legal rights.

2. When did human rights start?
The human rights movement emerged on the 10th December 1918 from former socialists in Eastern and Western Europe, with contributions from the USA and Latin America.

3. Why were they created?
To protect people and to give them the some rights and freedoms no mattesir ther religions or race.

4. How many haven rights are there?
There are 30 articles based on human rights. All of them are about different subjects but they are related in some way.

5. Which human rights were you not familiar with?
I am not familiar with copyright, because I think that the information is free and equal for everybody.

6. Chose one human right and discuss?
Don’t discriminate. I chose this human right because in my country I think there is still some discrimination although it has improved a lot, for example when people are applying for a job, depending on the person they can get the job or not. I think that in the past no country respected discrimination, I believe that discrimination is not respected in under developed countries, for example South American countries.

7. Are human rights relevant in the world today?
Yes they are. But there are some human rights that are not respected in some countries, for example in Abu Dhabi they don’t respected the rights of the workers. Everything is controlled by the government and people are not allowed to express their opinions. There are also a lot of differences between men and women in many countries, for example women who do the same job as a man is often paid less money.
