My best friend’s name is David. He’s seventeen but he looks older. He’s got pale skin and short black hair. He is slim and a bit taller than me.

He’s got a strange smile which defines his personality. At school he is a simple person the same as his friends. Moreover he is a good friend and very kind. He sometimes gets quite nervous about exams. David plays Handball every week and he is the star of the team and in the future he could be in the first league.

David is always a very thoughtful friend and you can always trust him, he will never deceive you or cheat you in any way. He is a very honest person. He is a good friend

White week

This last week was the white week that is a one week holiday established by La Generalitat de Catalunya, because school started one week earlier. This week was very good for students, but not for parents, because they must work.

However, my family and me took advantage of the week to go on holiday to London.

We left early on Friday and we returned on Sunday night, for this reason the trip was been short. But we visited many places, like Big Ben, British museum, river Thames, Buckingham palace, etc. I liked everything, but most of all Thames tower bridge, because the scenery was spectacular.

London is one of the most important cities in the world and there are more things that Barcelona for example. Moreover I think English people are different from here, they are quieter than here and know how to enjoy themselves more.

Despite the cultural diversity it is a city where I would like to live, because there are the best European communications and the most important companies.

GUARDIOLA

“Pep Guardiola i Sala”, was born 18th January 1971 in Santpedor, Barcelona. He is a Spanish football manager and former player.
Guardiola played as a defensive midfielder and spent the majority of his playing career with Barcelona, which he currently manages.
He was part of Johan Cruyff's dream team that won Barcelona's first European Cup.
After, Guardiola became coach of Barcelona B. Before, Barcelona president Laporta announced that Guardiola would succeed Frank Rijkaard as the first team manager.
He signed his contract on 5th June 2008. In his first season as manager, Barcelona won the treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League. In doing so, Guardiola became the youngest UEFA Champions League winning manager ever.
The following season, Guardiola and Barcelona won the Supercopa de España, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup, bringing the manager's tally to a perfect six trophies in six competitions.
My team is Real Madrid, but I recognize Pep Guardiola as the best and great coach, who gives everything for his team.
I recommend this man for his effort, sincerity and humility. he is an example for everybody.

Hosni Mubarak has finally left the country
Summary: Everything blew up on 12/2/11 in Egypt, the people who were against the government of the dictator Hosini Mubarak started the revolution, because they wanted freedom. Influenced by the revolution in Tunisia.
And finally the revolution finished with the last Egyptian emperor
Opinion: In my opinion I don’t think that these problems exist nowadays. The dictator had been in power 32 years, and during all that time, he had been cheating the population, and taking public goods. Currently their incomes have come to light and he is one of the richest lords.

Observation of my oral presentation
In my oral presentation I used a power point for recourse. On the power point there were some images about the subject. Also I use the support. And presentation lasted more on less 5 minutes.
During the presentation I looked at the people of the class a bit, in particular I look at the teacher. Moreover, sometimes I read notes, but in the last paragraph I read all of it. All through the presentation I use a few gestures.
The grammar of the oral presentation was correct and varied with phrasal verbs and topic-related vocabulary. I used some sentences linkers; with, and, also, moreover, etc. And pause fillers.
My pronunciation was correct, but some words were difficult to pronounce. I think that I could improve the tone of voice.
From my self-evaluation I think I could improve a little in everything, but on the other hand I think that I didn't do too badly. For this reason I think I deserve a 6.

-Mmm, I’ll tell you, the other day when I went shopping in Figueres I saw your girlfriend with her previous boyfriend.

+It can’t be true. She told me that afternoon she was with her girlfriends.

-Moreover it’s not the first time that I have seen them together since they quit.

+It’s impossible; they haven’t spoken to each other since they argued.

-Ok. I’m only telling you what I saw.

IS BECOMING A DANGER OBESITY?

Obesity is spreading into developing countries. Nutrition experts warn of a global epidemic of obesity-related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Although a diet of fatty fast foods may account for obesity in some countries, a major cause is that many manufacturers now add more sugar to foods "to make them taste better." Additionally, Asian and African diets include more edible oils, with the consequent extra calories.
People use technology at work and save a lot of physical work. People want to work less and have more free time.
Since obesity is rising rapidly among schoolchildren too, especially in areas where recreation and physical activity have been reduced, there is an urgent need for teachers to be aware of the relationship between nutrition and academic performance
We should'nt go to that extreme, we must maintain a good physique.
